I will stamp all over 'credible fighter' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be broadcast live on Netflix.

Briton Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.

Former two time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Fighter's Mindset

"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35, stated.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."

Civil Exchange

Despite such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically known for his showmanship - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul instead attacked ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British rival Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] outshines Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Fighter

Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.

He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive paydays.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for 2026.

"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Paul stated.

Size Disparity

As both boxers participated in the customary confrontation, with their size difference evident, it drove home just how improbable this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is actually proceeding.
